How long does it take to improve my credit?

Of course each case is different but you will see your first credit repair results within 30 to 45 days after joining National Credit Guidance. The entire process may take four to eight months to complete and we will work with you for an entire year if necessary. The determining factors are how many items we will work on, the cooperation of your creditors and any stalling tactics employed by a credit reporting agency. We know how to best overcome any credit bureau delaying tactics.

Can I apply for new credit while my credit is being repaired?

Generally no but there may be times when we will recommend a new line of credit to improve your credit score. The best time to apply for the new credit you deserve is after we have completed your credit repair work.

How long have you been providing credit repair?

We have been helping good people with bad credit reports for 25 years.

Are there any up front costs?

No, there are no advance fees. You only pay after the services have been completed. There is a possibility each credit bureau will charge you a nominal fee for a copy of your credit report. We will advise you if this will be needed in your case.

Why do credit bureaus receive so many complaints?

Because Equifax, Experian and Trans Union advertise a service, accurate credit reporting, that they have rarely been able to provide. The consumer credit reporting system is in shambles and there is little accountability for the harm caused by the credit reporting industry. People complain because they can't get the home, job, credit card or insurance they deserve due to inaccurate, incomplete and misleading credit reports. Instead of addressing the hundreds of thousands of complaints they receive each year, the credit bureaus engage in credit repair smear tactics against honest credit consultants and even influence the government to play fast and loose with the actual number of credit bureau complaints.

Do you guarantee to remove specific items from my credit report?

No we do not make any such guarantees. Only a credit bureau and in some cases, a creditor, can make the actual deletion, correction or improvement. We act as the catalyst for such improvements and changes. Just as lawyers and doctors never guarantee a specific outcome, no credit repair company may do so either. We do promise to use our 25 years of credit repair experience to do our very best for you.
